Big fish eats small fish – Part # 1
Nordic Sea Angling (NSA) is an angling-adventure company running several sea fishing camps in Norway. When we consulted the guides working for NSA they all had one common experience:
When catching and releasing big halibuts several of threw up small wolffish that were engulfed a few hours earlier. Wolffish were also found in the stomach content of those few fish keept for eating.
Scary Jerry is the perfect imitation of wolffish and eelpout – an important part of the food sources for halibut resting in shallow water.
