We have just received a report from our Test team member Mikael Särelin, Finland. From what “Mikey” writes it seems like the pike fly fishing in his local brackish water estuaries is hot right now:
“Last weekend I went floattubing for pike with my friend Erkki. Erkki is a hardcore flyfisherman but has no prior experience of flyfishing for pike, so I figured it was time to do something about it. I invited him over and we spent the weekend fishing. We had a great time and Erkki caught his first ever pike on the fly. Better yet, we hooked two large specimens simultaneously.
